General Manager
“I actually played my last competitive game
of amateur golf here on the stunning Waterfall Course, prior to me
joining the professional ranks. I remember being wowed by the
complex then as I am still today...”
In full circle
As the son of a golf professional who then
followed in his father's footsteps, I have been spoilt by
opportunities to play and experience some of the world’s finest
golf clubs. In work I have gained knowledge and understanding from
the likes of Wentworth, Killarney Golf & Fishing Club and the
Manor House at Castle Combe – our sister property where I spent
five unforgettable years as Director of Golf. With a craving to
broaden my experience I then moved in full circle to take
responsibility for Mannings Heath.
The Complete picture
With the most stunning 17th Century Clubhouse
framed and scented by immaculate lush turf where golf has been
played since the early 1900’s, it is difficult not to get absorbed
in the history surrounding Mannings Heath. Each year the
modernisation and refurbishment remains sympathetic to this most
important aspect. Our courses are a delight and provide a challenge
for novices or professionals alike. Our wildlife is simply amazing,
with many an early morning course walk revealing deer refreshing
themselves on the dew soaked fairways.
Finally…
I am extremely proud of my team who are a
dedicated group of people, with personalities that they are
actively encouraged to reveal and who ultimately enjoy giving our
members and guests the service and experience they
deserve.
